Anne-Marie D'Alton - Chief Executive Officer
 

                  

Anne-Marie D’Alton is the Chief Executive Officer of Batseta. Batseta is a non-profit organisation that promotes the interest of trustees and principal officers within the retirement industry. Anne-Marie has an MBA from the University of Pretoria and 20 odd years of experience in the Department of Labour. She was instrumental in introducing minimum wages for workers in sectors such as retail, civil engineering, contract cleaning and domestic workers, while with the Department. She also helped establish a provident fund for contract cleaners and private security workers. Anne-Marie also holds a BA (Communication) from the Rand Afrikaans University and completed a Personal Development Programme (top of the class student) at the University at the Witwatersrand.


 Lucretia Mosing - Financial and Administration Manager

          

Lucretia Mosing is responsible for managing the financial and administrative wellbeing of Batseta. She makes sure that Batseta's solvency ratio is always healthy so that future prospects for our members are always good. Lucretia has 17 years' teaching experience at high school level in subjects like accounting, economics and business economics, and an MBA degree from the University of Pretoria. Who better to keep Batseta on the financial straight-and-narrow when it comes to finance and administration?


 Krappie Eloff - Education and Training Manager

                  

Krappie was previously employed as the ETQA (Education and Training Quality Assurance) division within various SETA’s that fulfils a similar role as an AQP (Assessment Quality Partner). He has extensive experience related to the management of a quality assurance centre and associated complexities related to adult education, work of professional bodies and service delivery to members. He is well equiped to assist Batseta with the roll out of the next phase of the occupation qualifications. He holds a B.Sc degree (UP) HED Degree (cum laude) (UP) and a MDP Programme (cum laude) US.


 
 Jabu Mngxekeza - Office Manager and Executive PA
 

          

Jabu Mngxekeza is responsible for looking after the day-to-day administration and efficient running of the Batseta office. She attends to phone calls, travel arrangements and other pressing issues that have to be dealt with on a real-time basis. Together with Anne-Marie, Jabu helps ensure that the Secretariat is run on a tight-ship basis and that our membership lists are always up to date. Jabu's vitality and enthusiasm help to bolster energy levels when the going gets tough. Jabu has a secretariat diploma.

 Petri Buys - Marketing Communications Specialist
 

                

Petri Buys started as an intern in the Marketing department of Batseta on 7 May 2012. Petri holds an Honours Degree in Strategic Communication from the University of Johannesburg. He is responsible for communicating logistics about seminars, the conference, the awards dinner and other events to the relevant stakeholders which include members, sponsors, the board and any other relevant bodies. Petri has made contributions to some of the design elements in the online communications platforms such as the website and email communication templates and also looks after the Batseta brand. He is furthermore responsible for the social media websites, and assists with day-to-day IT issues. Lastly, he has transformed the PF-130 document into an online assessment for easier access, distribution and quality of analysis.


 Mmaletsatsi Mahlalela  - Accounts Assistant

                

Mmaletsatsi Mahlalela started as an intern in the Finance and Administration department of the POA on 1 June 2012. Mmaletsatsi is responsible for member registration, invoicing, keeping the membership list updated and a host of duties in assisting to keep Batseta’s financial records up to date. Mmaletsatsi Mahlalela holds a National Diploma in Financial Management from Tshwane North College.  She participated in a work readiness programme for Accounting Technicians with Guarantee Trust Corporate Services in 2009. Mmaletsatsi started working as a Debt collector at MBD Credit solutions in 2010 then went on to work at Energy SETA as an Administrator before working at Batseta.


 Bridget Mawelewele  - Marketing Communications Associate

                

Bridget Mawelewele started as an intern in the Marketing Department on 8 May 2015. She is currently completing her Masters Degree in Strategic Communication at the University of Johannesburg.  Before joining Batseta, Bridget worked as a Marketing Assistant at the University of Johannesburg’s Arts & Culture division. Bridget currently assists with the arrangement of Batseta events, drafting content for event-related communication and updating the Batseta website content.
